Во многих предыдущих записях я отказывал себе в излишней эмоциональности, описывая города Ирана. А ведь я вернулся из поездки просто переполняемый восторгом от этой страны. Всё дело в том, что до этого я описывал камни — мечети, дома, стены, горы, а главное в Иране — это люди, его населяющие. Они настолько добрые, улыбчивые и открытые, что рядом с ними совсем забываешь, что здесь в Москве ты часто бываешь раздражительным и злым.
Что я знал об Иране до поездки? Что это исламская страна, в которой чтут свои традиции, в которой суровые наказания за преступления; иранские женщины мне представлялись закутанными с ног до головы в чёрное (примерно как на фотографии ниже), а за несоблюдение норм исламской морали меня быстро заберут в тюрьму и выдворят из страны.
К моему некоторому даже сожалению оказалось всё не совсем так. Да, девушки и женщины ходят в платках. Только очень часто платок не скрывает не то, чтобы чёлку, а даже макушку.

Что ещё хочется отметить: иранцы очень коммуникабельные. Им интересно общаться с туристами, и они пытаются это делать, даже если вообще не знают английского. Иногда даже становилось очень неудобно: мы не знаем фарси, человек не знает английского, но очень хочет пообщаться и ходит рядом, пытается заговорить, объяснить что-то на пальцах. И ведь неудобно ему отказать, а интереса общаться с ним жестами нет никакого.
Зато становится очень интересно, когда попадается человек, который неплохо знает английский. С ним можно разговориться очень надолго. В мечети в Исфахане с этим муллой мы общались гораздо больше, чем полчаса.
Что меня поразило, что он в своей речи первым упомянул государство Израиль, но ни в чём его не обвинял, а просто призывал его уважать арабов, живущих на его территории в Палестине и Секторе Газа. Он не говорил плохих слов об Америке. Не призывал меня принять ислам, а наоборот, интересовался некоторыми фактами о христианстве, которых он не знал. Нет смысла пересказывать весь наш разговор, но я был очень признателен ему за беседу. Редко удаётся вести такой диалог с таким образованным человеком.
И что самое главное, я заметил. как проходившие мимо иранцы, которые знали английский, останавливались и начинали слушать, о чём мы говорим. После этого ко мне подошла одна иранская девушка и сказала, что ей было очень интересно слушать наш разговор, а я — большой молодец, что смог ответить на последний вопрос, потому что если бы его задали ей, она бы не нашлась, что ответить. Тем временем мулла уже начал беседу с кем-то из местных. Я так понял, что он очень уважаемый человек в своей области, а мне очень повезло, что я с ним общался.

Люди просто будут кричать вам «Hello!» и проходить, проезжать с огромной улыбкой мимо.
